Introduction-

The javelin through king  Neeraj Chopra was born on dec 24 , 1997 in khandra village of panipat in haryana. His parents are Mr. Santosh Kumar & mrs. Saroj devi.

His family is dependent in agriculture as his father is farmer. In childhood due to the obesity everyone jokes him as ‘ MOTA ‘ but he ignored everyone. Neeraj was very disciplined from his childhood and he was also interested in study as well as sports.

Educational background-

Neeraj Chopra belongs to middle class family so he did complete his primary education from panipat.

After that he did graduation from the DAV college Chandigarh. & his BA was complete from lovely professional university.

Athletic career of Neeraj Chopra-

Neeraj was very obese from childhood so his uncle started his running. He started his running in age of 13 . The stadium where he wants to run, he looks many children to play different games as cricket, volleyball, long jump, javelin through other etc. From where there emerge a spirit of javelin through in neeraj chopra

After that neeraj joined gym . So he control his overweight and become a healthy person.

In the initial time of javelin through, neeraj got a wrist injury, but he mustard his courage and again start his practice to make perfect.

In 2015 he won his first medal of athletic career as gold medal.

Then in 2016 with the distance of 86.40 m 9f javelin through, he again won gold medal in Poland in IAAF championship.

Defence life of Neeraj Chopra.

After winning gold medal in IAAF championship in Poland neeraj was selected as Junior Commission officer in 4 Rajputana rifle ( Indian Army) .

Now neeraj was able to bring a javelin from his income as well as he was helping his family.

Neeraj chopra is now Subedar in Indian Army and calling as SUBEDAR NEERAJ CHOPRA.

there was a great role of coach Amreesh kumar sir to selected neeraj as JCO. From here everyone has a hope that one day neeraj become a international champion & will make our country proud.

Neeraj Chopra in Olympics-

In 2018 Commonwealth Games neeraj won a medal for country after that he got a large injury of shoulder.

As rest of 2 year neeraj was now fitt. He again did hard practice for javelin through

And in 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj won the gold medal for india in javelin through with the distance of 87.58 M of javelin.

This was really a proud moment for every indian. Because Neeraj was the first person who won gold medal for india in athletics in Olympics.

Achievements- 

Haryana government- 6 crore with 1st class job.

Panjab Gov – 2 crore.

Manipur Gov- 2 crore.

Chennai super kings – 1 crore.

BCCI – 1 crore.

And indigo company gave him free tickets for one year.

Aanand mahindra gave him a top model of Mahindra XUV 700 car

– Arjun award .
